To Char and to the Staff at CR Bronzeworks:
The cemetary contacted me today to inform me that the bronze plaque I ordered for Cortes Davis Price had arrived and was installed. Ms. Davis was my ex mother in law and I was divorced from her oldest son when she passed away. My daughters (her only granddaughters) took it upon themselves to purchase a marker for her because Ms. Davis' two sons and her husband did not make any arrangements to get one and it had been almost five years since she had passed.

I want to thank you for your prompt and efficient service.
It was very easy to purchase the marker and you were more than accomodating even though I live on the other side of the nation. Your price was also $200 less than the cemetary's price. It was well worth the purchase and it looks fabulous and it arrived just before Ms. Davis' birthday. They plan to have a small ceremony at the cemetary over Thanksgiving when they go to visit their father in Columbus.
On behalf of my daughters (Kay and Ja), THANK YOU! I know this will bring closure to their lives.
Sincerely
Tina S. Milner

Char,
I just received this email with the picture of my husband's marker. I haven't seen it yet but the picture is exactly like the picture you sent me. I couldn't be happier. I wasn't sure at first about ordering it over the phone & Internet but I will tell everyone about CR Bronzeworks.

Char, you were great to work with. Even the employees at the cemetery couldn't believe your price, 1/3 of the price they wanted me to pay by ordering through them.
Thank you so much. I will be seeing it in person next week.

Thanks again, June Warren

Dear Char, I know you haven't heard from me in a while. We have had Bethany's bronze for quite some time. Our cemetery finally got the granite right and had the stone installed about 2 weeks ago (even though we have had the bronze for months). We are so pleased that we ordered her bronze through your company. Everything was perfect and exactly the way we wanted it. With all the little things that the mortuary messed up on, we can't imagine working with them to get Bethany's headstone. We are so glad to have another choice, with better service and a better price.

We would like to thank you for your respected professional service for my mothers plaque. We live in a very remote area of Oregon and have to dig our own graves in the Burnt River Pioneer cemetery. Our ranch is about 1/2 mile from the cemetery and I can see my mom's grave from here. The heart shaped marker was perfect for the granite stone we hauled from the mountains.

It's strange to say but .....I hope I don't have to use your services again:- ( at least no time soon......but if unfortunately I have to, I will definitely do so and certainly recommend you/your company to others.

Char, Thanks for doing such a great job on the medallions for the monument in San Antonio Florida. It was great working with you and we appreciate all that your company did to provide us with a quality product. Jacob went before the city commission in San Antonio and presented a project to erect a monument to honor all veterans, not just those who have passed. His goal was to accomplish this by July 4, 2007. He started in March and needed to raise the necessary funds and secure the necessary approvals from the city. He presented and was granted permission from the city to place the monument in front of City Hall. The city even donated $3000 to the project which allowed it to get rolling. It was dedicated by the city, and Jacob, on July 4, 2007.
This was Jacob’s eagle scout project. He did not want to build benches or do landscaping like others. He wanted something to remember. With all the up’s and down’s with this project, and especially with a short time window, this is one he will really remember as will all the residents in San Antonio. I have attached a few pictures.

Hello Char and Russ,
Words can't begin to describe our total satisfaction with the service we received from you and your company. The bronze companion marker for Mom and Dad arrived and we are completely delighted. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the piece and absolutely overjoyed with its design. Thank you for your personal attention in designing this with me. I am amazed you were able to deliver in less than two weeks from the time I ordered. We took the marker to the cemetery to be installed and my rep. there said it was one of the nicest and heaviest she has seen in 9 years on the job. (I gave her your number!) Thank you from the bottom of my heart, it was so nice dealing with a family owned and operated company who cares about their customer. May God bless your and yours. You have earned my respect and loyalty for life.

Thank you, it was a fine job, the marker was beautiful, well suited for my dear mother, as predicted the cemetery was not terribly happy with us 'going off site' to get our own marker, but I did not really care, I was persistent and they came around, I'm sure they stuck it to us a bit extra, and claimed it violated their standard sizes ( there is not one marker the same dimension in our family plot), and they are dragging their heels putting it in, but I've already paid them and it should be going in soon, or I'll have a talk to speed them up a bit, if you know what I mean.

Dear Friends at CR Bronzeworks

I can't thank you enough for your helpfulness, kindness and caring. It has been an experience that I will never forget and you made a difficult time in my life a lot easier to handle. I ordered a baby marker for my baby brother who died in 1947 at the age of 2 days. I was only 17 months old when he died, but I had always felt there was "something missing" in my life. While doing a family history I found my baby brother, who no one ever mentioned his name or even acknowledged his existance. Somehow, by the grace of God I found that "missing" piece in my life. It was not easy to locate his grave as the cemetery he is burind in was not helpful at all about helping me locate him. Their attitude was "it has been 60 years, so what is the big deal?". This unnerved me in such a way that I threatened them by telling them I was going to report their ethics to the State of Washington Funeral Directors as well as the State Attorney General. I had no idea what I was going to say to the officials, but my threat worked. They bent over backwards to help me find my brothers plot. They also were very upset with me when I did not order their marker, which was nothing like I had in mind and more than five times the price I paid you for your most beautiful work.

With your help and assistance I feel much beter about being able to give my baby brother a marker he should have had so many years ago. I feel at peace now and I also know that he is safe with our Lord and Savior. I cannot thank you enough for all your help and assistance and I will be forever grateful.

Hi Char,
Just wanted to let you know the marker came yesterday. It was a nice surprise to get it on the ninth as we got together for dinner and had a candle lighting service at the cemetery. Much to our surprise, just after we lit our candles, fireworks were lighting up the sky just over the tree line. It was nothing we planned or arranged for; the fireworks place not far from where we were was just doing some test sets.
Everyone liked the marker and commented that it was perfect.
Thank you for everything,

We have a Stone mason that is helping my son out by mounting the stone top to the memorial, he is also mounting the plaque. We will have a Dedication Ceremony coming up on Veterans Day, November 11,2006. We will send you a picture of the completed memorial after the ceremony. Thank you again for the speedy work and delivery. This should be a nice addition to our township, and hopefully people remember all the sacrifices that Soldiers and their families make everyday on our behalf.

Two weekends ago, I cut a recess in a granite rock so that the plaque would fit in it. We shipped it (all 127 pounds of rock and plaque) to Gonzaga University where our daughter Ann was attending school. The University agreed to plant a tree in front of the Hopkins Honors House where Ann studied. This photo shows the plaque at the base of the tree.

Dearest Family & Friends..... As of last week, Cocalina's grave marker was installed. Thank you for supporting us through this all and thank you sooooo much for all the contributions to her marker! We love you and know that Cocalina loves you too. Paul and I sat down one day shortly after she came into this world and really thought about what Catalina represented to us. We also thought long and hard as to what she would want on her grave marker. We came up with a heliconia, the bird of paradise flower. It is our favorite flower that we see frequently while traveling throughout Central America and we had a lot growing in our yard in Italy where Catalina was conceived.....it represents her short life here on Earth, and since these are very sturdy/hardy plants, it also represents her struggle on this world and stubbornness to give up.

Then we chose to border it with the infinity symbol.....because she is part of our eternal family and will be with us forever in our hearts until we meet her again. Blue Morpho Butterfly....this represents the fragility of life and her beautiful spirit that lives on. Butterflies are only on this Earth for a short time, just like Catalina. The Morpho also represents her loveliness inside and out. After all the horrible things we read about her genetic condition and deformities that could occur, we were awed by her beauty, big eyes, soft skin, and gorgeous curly black hair (Don't forget her chubby little chin!) Every now and then we feel her presence and get the chills….her spirit is alive and doing great things!!

Once again, thank you for everything and keep crossing your fingers, Paul & I have been busy trying to make her a sister or brother (or one of each!).

To Whom It May Concern;

My mother's bronze grave marker arrived today. I am almost overwhelmed at the high quality of both the lay-out and the casting -- particularly when compared to some of your competitors. It's nice to see some firms still care about their products and their customers.

Thank you for taking a huge concern off my shoulders. My mom would be proud at the plaque that will be marking her grave site.

Rest assured that we will do business again.

Char and Russ, I received my order yesterday . I was suprised. You guys do great work. I am very pleased with my order. I showed it to my family and they were also very enthusiastic. I'll be honest, I did not know if you guys were a legitimate company. I still had faith, though. I was getting frustrated and I apologize for some of my frustration. When I heard that my order was changed it threw me for a loop. Again, I thought, am I going to get my order. I think that the biggest concern that I had was I did not know that it was going to take that long to get my order. I thought I would receive it at the end of a month, and I did not know that it is usual to wait for 8 to 12 weeks (for a custom order). My resistance is due to other people who are dishonest and ruin it for everyone else, and again, I apologize. I am happy that you guys do great, beautifiul work, and I would recommend you guys to everyone. Again, great job and beautiful work!!!!!!

Comments: Hi Char, Just wanted to thank you and the rest of the staff at CR Bronzeworks. Rebekah's marker is now in it's final place and looks beautiful. Here is a picture of it: (click here) The local dealer that put the granite base on said that it looks great and is so heavy, he was very impressed with the workmanship of the marker and said the price was great. The cemetery owner said that he will even recommend you to others that may come and ask about marker dealers. Our local dealers only carried 3 different designs of infant markers and all from the same manufacturer.
Thank you so much, will definitely be recommending you to others.

Hello, Just wanted to let you know that I picked up the plaque on Monday afternoon, so thank you for sending it! Also, it is beautiful! We had a dedication to Kim yesterday and her family was here. It was so beautiful, everyone was so happy with the plaque. I have taken pictures of it, so I will email them to you tomorrow. Thank you again for all your hard work in making our day a memorable one!

Wanted to say thank you for the great job you did on our son's memorial. Thank you for allowing us to be so specific in creating just what we wanted. I was originally very frustrated with the brochures the monument companies around our home had given us, as well as overwhelmed by the prices they would charge for a custom monument.
I thank you again.

Hi Russ, Char. I just wanted to write you a thank you letter and tell you how beautiful everyone thinks Lisa"s marker is. The family that has seen it loves it, yes i drove it around last night showing it off. I'm a skilled craftsman myself, ( I believe in giving my customers the best in quality and longevity in my work) if I build it, it will last. And I am very pleased with the quality and thickness of the marker. I took it to the cemetary today and the lady over at their office was really impressed with the depth of the trees and the overall quality. I was comparing it to the markers they sell, which are from one of the top companies in the region, and it felt twice as thick. Even though your price was the lowest, the main reason I wanted to go with you was that your business is based largely with your family. And I want you to let them all know that we really thank them too. I really hope that I can open some doors around here to get you more business from this area. I could go on and on about my feelings on the quality that the foundry put out on this project. But, I'll just end by saying that everyone involved in this did my sister proud and PLEASE tell them that. And Char, thank you for all your work.

P.S. They said if it doesnt rain tomorrow they will get it set, then i will take a picture and send it to you all together. ( oh the vase is very nicely done too)

Hello Charlene,
I just wanted to send a little thank you note. The headstone is complete and is very beautiful. I think it would have turned out just how he wanted it. We were right down to the minute on getting it installed but we made it and honored his birthday. I appreciated all that you did to make it happen.

Dear Char, Mama's marker came today. After a good cry, I sat on the floor and looked at it and the only two words that came to mind were perfect and beautiful. It is beautiful. The cross you suggested is beautiful. It is perfect. Thank you so much for all your help and for answering all my questions so quickly. You made a difficult time so much easier for me to handle. You can be assured that when my friends are faced with making the same purchase I will sing the praises of your company.
Gratefully, Anne Brennaman.

Char, I just returned from Denver where we dedicated the marker you made for my Mother's grave. I can't tell you how pleased we were. The marker was just beautiful, and truly stands out from the more expensive yet less attractive markers surrounding it. My whole family was so impressed. Thank you.

Comments: Russ and Char, I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know I received my brother's marker yesterday. I am VERY pleased! I have to admit I was a bit nervous about ordering this sort of thing over the internet. However, your timely responses to my questions and overall professionalism put me at ease. Your website is also by far the best I was able to find and help makes shopping very easy. Now that I have the real thing in-hand, I know I made the right decision! If you ever need a reference, please do not hesitate to ask me!

Just wanted to drop you a note to say my sister and I are really pleased with our mother's marker that I ordered from you. It looks great. Ordering a marker on the Internet was something I really didn't see myself doing at first because of the inability to see examples of a company's product up close and personal. I took a chance and now, after seeing the quality of the marker we ordered (not to mention the significant cost savings we enjoyed over the local cemetery's offerings) I would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone who might ask me about ordering a marker on the Internet. Even the local cemetery office personnel were impressed with the quality of the marker and the speed in which you were able to process my order and ship it. They were particularly impressed with the fact your company provided the proper mounting holes on the bottom of the marker and that they were tapped the appropriate size. The quality of the marker, your attention to detail combined with your wide selection, competitive pricing and timely delivery has earned a recommendation from me to anyone who asks me to recommend a quality marker/memorial foundry company on the Internet.

Dear Russ & Char, I just want to share with you the news that the bronze marker is in place. My father went to view it yesterday with sunflowers in hand (mother's favorite flowers) to place in the vase. My sister who was with him and who also viewed the marker for the 1st time, remarked that it was the most exceptional, shiny and beautiful of any marker around. She loved it. Dad remarked about the elks. The vision of my father driving to see the marker with sunflowers in his hands for his wife, our mother brings tears to my eyes.

Thank you so much for doing an exceptional job of getting the marker there on schedule, and making it perfect for our family.

Thank you again, Joan

It's a great job and we couldn't be happier with the results.
Thanks very much for your patience and help with the design. The craftsmanship is superb and the price is terrific. Count on me for a great recommendation if you would like to direct any potential customers my way.

Dear Russ: Park Lawn received the marker late last week and Dad immediately wrote a check. We were both amazed that you trusted "unknowns" by shipping prior to payment. Actually, we were planning on a credit card payment before shipping. Anyway, we don't trust leaving checks in the mailbox so I had it in my front seat for the P. O. and thought it had gone out same day. I just found it still in the front seat this a.m. and now it is in the mail (regular) 6/2. I apologize for the delay. Thanks for doing such a good job on something that is so personal. My sister is LDS and lives in Gilbert. She and her husband know many LDS people and when they return from Turkey I will show her your good work for us and how you trusted us to ship prior to paymant. I hope that will bring you some business.

Russ, I have not yet seen them, but one of the people who have been working on this project with me, Raphael Ngotie, from the City of Phoenix Arts Commission said they looked really great. I can hardly wait to see them. We are building fixtures right now to hold them on the inside of the bridge, and printing a brochure that contains all the statements from all the individuals who participated in the project and are planning a grand opening on either May 24th or May 30th.

Thanks for your speedy work! It has really helped us. I was afraid that we were going to run long, but your efficiency with the order has really saved the day. Kim

Thank you for the beautiful plaque for my client! Truth be told, you were the only trade/vendor on this project that did what they said they would do — the plaque is far more beautiful in person! It has been some time since we received our order. My Mom stayed in Colorado and then visited with some friends and relatives, so I didn't get to see the pictures she took of the bronze markers until around Christmas. Through January and February, my Mom has been ailing, so I was short on time. I wanted to let you know that we were all very happy with the appearance and workmanship of the markers, and the prompt service and attention to our order. We put the markers on the inner side of the eave of the deck on the cabin, overlooking Vallecito Reservoir. They aren't immediately visible, but we know they are there. The bronze markers are exactly what I hoped they would be.
Thank you.

I received Justice's marker yesterday, it was perfect. Even though Justice will always have a place in my heart, be thought of daily, I'm glad it will be a chapter of my life I can get closure on now. Shortly after Justice was born, I got pregnant with my daughter and I couldn't even look at headstones, panic and fear dwelled inside of me thinking that the same thing might happen to my baby girl. We now have a healthy baby girl, and now the marker for our son. Thanks for a job well done

We received the Natalie Wheeler Plaque for the Town of Westfield today. All of the people here in our office who have seen it have agreed that it looks great and admired the wonderful workmanship. Thank you for doing such a outstanding job in so short a period of time. Your work is tremendous!

We picked up the plaque today from from the Post Office. Thanks! I am very happy, and impressed with it. If I have it mounted on a stone, I may have to order another one for home!

As you probably know, about 6,000 of these German soldiers stayed in the U.S. and Canada. There must be millions of descendants alive today. I guess you won't have to tool-up for an onslaught of orders for plaques, but I'd expect that orderes will be placed with some, albeit slow, regularity in the future.

Regards,
Bill

The Cast Bronze Marker mounted on Black Granite was waiting for me when I arrived at Lincoln City, Oregon. You did a Great Job! It looks perfect next to the original gray monument at Taft Cemetery. The memorial service conducted today at 1246Z (8:46am for you), here in Kandahar Afghanistan was a big hit as we dedicated the beautiful plaque you made to those who died last year. The monument we attached it to is next to the one dedicated to all the soldiers who have died so far in Operation Enduring Freedom. It amazingly arrived this morning just hours prior to the service on a day when no scheduled mail was supposed to fly in. About 1200 servicemen (Army, Air Force, Marine and Coalition forces) were present for the service and dedication. Thank you so much for your rapid response to meet a need here in Afghanistan. All who witnessed the ceremony were clearly touched and fully understand our requirement here to ensure such atrocities never happen again, especially on American soil. We are dedicated to staying as long as it takes to ensure that success

God Bless you! Airborne All The Way!

I am just emailing you to let you know that I received the plaque for my father today and it looks fabulous. I really appreciate all the help that you gave me in getting this process done. Your establishment does fine work. The eagle is awesome!!! The sculptor did a wonderful job. I know that my father would agree with me if he were here. He always found eagles to be one of God's finest creatures, and when ever I see an eagle I think of him. I will really rest easily now that I have finally gotten this task accomplished and it only took me four and a half years to get it done!!! Thanks again!

Russ,
We have finally been able to complete the installation of the beautiful marker for Leslie. Unfortunately, we were dealing with a most uncooperative and unpleasant individual at the cemetery.

My husband and I live in Atlanta and although Birmingham is a few hours away, we are not able to visit as often as we would like to. We actually viewed the final marker back in December and then gave the cemetery person the okay to re-install it. Not to bore you with unnecessary details, Russ, but our next visit wasn't until March. Expecting to find the marker installed we were horrified to find a gaping hole in the ground where they had removed the marker and granite but had not completed the installation. My husband then contacted the cemetery manager and raised cane and the installation was finally done. However, we were not able to visit Leslie's site until last weekend. It is, finally, perfect.

Russell, I thank you for your willingness to make sure we were satisfied and your dedication to delivering exactly what we ordered. It is, indeed, the beautiful tribute we were looking for.

Thank you again for your dedication and customer service.

God bless you.
Best regards,

The plaque arrived yesterday. It is gorgeous ! It more than met my expectations. Thank you very, very much. You did a beautiful job. It was quite a bit heavier than I expected at 52 lbs and I'm very glad I didn't ask for a bigger size. Carrying this around the house was hard enough and India is a very long way from here.

Thank you again, I just love it. I will let you know when I want another copy. I would be tempted to ask for it in aluminum to reduce the weight, but the bronze is so much richer. Would it cost any less in aluminum ?

With heartfelt gratitude,
Malinka

The monument is a real beauty, and we appreciate all of the hardwork. Richard will be bringing it to the church tomorrow for a visit. Areyou sure that it isn't 800 pounds instead of 80 lbs? By the time we lugit up the mountain, I estimate that its weight will approach at least aton! Actually we are thrilled by it. Your marker is well built and perfectin each detail. The sculpture is fantastic!

We have been drilling holes into the granite boulder on the crashsite. Four batteries are good for two holes. At least two more trips togo! It is quite the job!

The American Legion Magazine will be doing a story about ourceremony and I have included your business in the story. Also I ampitching for additional funding for that second marker. This should bepart of the story. Then the mission will be truly accomplished.

Okay, that is it for now. Our love and best wishes to you andyour wonderful family. Smiles across the miles....

All The Best From
Bedford, Jeff

P.S. I have asked the Legion to help us with the AJ-1 Navy bomber crashhere from 1950. This is our next year goal for Memorial Day. I want youto do this one too. But first one thing at a time.... JC

Just wanted you to know how pleased I was with the memorial marker your company created for my husband's grave. The ground was finally thawed enough for its installation this past week and I was able to visit yesterday. I was a little nervous, to say the least, as I only previously viewed it on the internet, but was so happy with the end result. Thank you so much for all the care, attention to detail that was taken, and in working with me in making this memorial marker as special as my husband was. Best wishes to you and your company in its future endeavors. Melissa

Russ, the plaque arrived late last week and is beautiful. My wife cried whenshe saw it. We have installed it underneath the coastal redwood we call "theMaia tree" -- Maia is buried beneath it. Thank you very much for all yourhelp; we are more appreciative than words can say.

Yes, I just received the bill on Saturday and the plaque yesterday afternoon. It was absolutely beautiful and everything I could've hoped for! I gave the bill to the sponsor teacher and she is going to send you the $255 ASAP . She is getting the money and principal signature and sending it off hopefully later this week. I'll e-mail you and tell you the exact day she sends it off. Thanks once again for your time, patience, and help.

Sincerely,
Kerri Glaze
Hey Russ, You are more than welcome! It is hard to piece together information like that from quite a distance; this I realize. One of the greatest comments I received from the McClure family was their remark about how easy you were to work with. This I must agree. You were a real trooper when we were nailing down the text for the B-25 monument. Just nerves of steel! As always, good work! The entire B-25 effort here turned out incredibly well. Having Larry Kelley show up with his B-25J "Panchito" was the real ticket. He stole the show! Not to mention your great effort with the marker. Everyone was pleased! My best wishes to you, Char, and your wonderful children. All the best from the Peaks of Otter. With Much Gratitude, Jeff

Wow, you did it! It came right on time. thank you for everything! Bobby
Russ, recieved both plaques. They look great. Do not quite understand how to install in rock/masonry, please advise. MARK WALLACE
Mr. Russ Dastrup Thank you for the plaque for my father. I received it today and it looks very nice. John H. Castillo
Ralph's scroll is very handsome. I am amazed that you were able to do so well with the antennae -- they're very clear. Anyway, thank you for an arduous job well done. Phylis
I arrived at the Lordsburg, NM post-office 30 minutes after the plaque did on Friday, November 3. It was tastefully done, thank you. I was able to get it mounted at the site of my brother's death without any real problem and am most pleased with the results. Thank you both for your efforts and for the special attention you gave to me and this project. Sincerely, -ed-
Russ, Got the plaque Friday. It was 73 pounds, a bit of a surprise to my wife. We got it installed Monday, and it looks awesome. I've got a photographer scheduled to shoot some pictures of it, and we'll send you copies. Thanks for the effort. Lcdr Greg McLaughlin
Russ, as you said, the plaque is absolutely stunning--I've been in tears for some time now, just looking at it, knowing how much Lora loves the job you did for her, and just amazed as howlife-like it is. Please tell me what to tell the custodial people at her college as to how to clean it--what (if anything) should they avoid, what should they use, etc. Again, My heartfelt thanks, Jan
Russ, The plaque arrived in good shape and we are pleased with it. Now it is at the stone works where they are drilling the petrified wood. They do plate mountings all the time so we decided to have them do it. It couldn't have come-out better. Thanks, Mel and Jean Chaney
Greetings: Thanks Russ and Char and everyone at CR Bronzeworks for the beautiful job you did on our bronze marker. As you know, the Lawrence Family Reunion of Whynot, North Carolina approved an idea last year to install a 100 year time capsule. So, for the past year I have been working on organizing, engineering and implementing the time capsule known as "The Year 2000 Lawrence Family Time Capsule." Hooray! The time capsule was successfully installed on Sunday September 24, 2000 at approximately 4 PM. The bronze marker was embedded in the eighty pound concrete cap that tops the time capsule hole. It looks grand.
Hi russ thanks it looks great. I really apreciate it. You have been very helpful, my step mom should like it. Jim
Just to let you know I received the plaque on Thursday and it is exactly what I wanted. Thanks for all your help and you can use me for a reference for your products. Again Thank You! Wilbur Sanders and Family
