St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church Aurora, Illinois Saint Athanasios is located in Aurora Illinois, a far-western suburb of Chicago. It has a parish of over 400 families and due to the significant growth in the Fox Valley area; the parish is also reaping the benefits with its own continued growth. This year they created two bronze plaques to remember those in their parish that have fought and given their lives in defence of our country.

	The church created two similar plaques with rounded tops and double border.	On this plaque they wanted to include the names they currently knew about, as well as make room for additional names in the future.




	They also created their own stainless steel stands to support the plaques.	This photo shows the back side of the plaque and how the bronze is bolted to the stainless steel backing plate and secured with bronze bolts.
